The EE 3G/4G USB Mobile broadband The Huawei E398 stick was built and sold with compatibility up to OSX 10.5 to 10.6 only. As much as EE can be difficult at times this isn't, in this case, their fault. Huawei make the device and write the drivers. Any issues with OSX 10.9 and compatibility with their device are entirely their responsibility. EE can only be held responsible for poor service when using that USB Modem. Plus Apple are well known for introducing new OS versions that consistently break previous driver versions. Notice there are never Windows users complaining about missing drivers for USB sticks (unless you're on a pre Windows XP OS), this is because PC's tend to keep drivers and USB protocols working in a similar manner.
